# Youth Digital Currency Programme

Convertly – A Recipe Unit Conversion Web App

## Overview

Convertly was developed as the final project for YDCP, a collaboration between Dunman Secondary School and Temasek Polytechnic. The program focuses on building computational thinking through AI, predictive analytics, and data visualization. Convertly is a web app that helps users quickly and accurately convert recipe units, making cooking more efficient and accessible

## What I Used

- Languages/Tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript\
- Concepts: Web development, user interface design, client-side scripting\
- Platform: Web (Responsive design)

## My Role & Contributions

I contributed to designing the user interface using HTML and CSS, and implemented the core conversion logic with JavaScript. I focused on making the app intuitive and fast for users needing quick measurement conversions while cooking.

* Responsive design for use on phones, tablets, and desktops

## What I Learned

This project helped me strengthen my frontend web development skills, understand client-side scripting, and practice creating user-friendly web applications that solve everyday problems. It also introduced me to the importance of responsive design and usability.
