# National Software Competition

Culturify – An AR-Powered Cultural Learning App

## Overview

Culturify was developed during the National Software Competition (NSC), a five-day hackathon hosted by the Apple Developer Society. In celebration of SG60, our team created an educational app to help elderly Singaporeans learn about the country’s diverse cultures in a fun and accessible way.

## What I Used

- Languages/Tools: Swift, SwiftUI, ARKit\
- Technologies: Augmented Reality, iOS Development\
- Platform: Xcode, iOS

## My Role & Contributions

I helped design and implement the core user experience in SwiftUI and integrated ARKit to bring cultural elements to life in augmented reality. I also contributed to user interface design, focusing on accessibility for elderly users.

## Key Features

* Augmented Reality experience powered by ARKit
* Simple, user-friendly SwiftUI interface
* Interactive learning modules about local culture

## What I Learned

This project taught me how to use ARKit to build immersive learning experiences and deepened my understanding of human-centric design. I also gained valuable experience collaborating in a team under time constraints, especially when balancing creativity with technical feasibility.
